Will Kromer was name that I had heard of, but I had never seen footage of him, until a couple weeks ago. Transworld released a part titled “Will Kromer’s Brooklyn Projects x Transworld Video Part“, so I gave it a watch. From the amazing skateboarding, to the filming and editing (shout out Kyle Steneide), it was great all around. After watching the part, I read Will’s interview, and was more amazed that he was able to film this part while juggling the crazy busy schedule of being a full time teacher.
Last week I rewatched Will’s part, and decided to make some loops from it. In general, I think loops look the best without slomo, and thankfully Kyle Steneide was cool enough to send over some raw footage from the part. With all that being said, go watch the part if you haven’t, and here’s a couple of my favorite loops from it.
This front tail up to front nose is incredible. I really like how Will mixes his skill, with unique trick and spot selection. He stood on that front tail so well, and bounced into what would be a perfect frontside noselide on its own.
First of all, what a cool spot. Flipping your board without needing to set your feet up is always special, and Will did that straight into a perfectly pinched front krook that he popped out of. There’s not much else to say here, just watch it, and keep watching it.
The past few days I’ve been watching a lot of Shin Sanbongi footage, I love his surfy style. Expect some loops of Shin coming up. I can’t wait for more footage of him in the next Polar video that Pontus discussed here.
As always, if you have a cool clip that should be looped, or a video recommendation, hit me up on Instagram! π
