What’s Loopin’ 7/13 🌀

At the end of the last blog post I mentioned being stoked on Shin Sanbongi‘s skating, which led to “Shin Week” on our Instagram. His flowy style, simple yet unique trick selection, and impeccable back noseblunts make Shin one of my favorites to watch.

Shin surfs himself, and grew up in a town where surfing is very popular in Japan, and you can see that influence in his skating. I feel like his skating can be appreciated by anyone, just simply because he looks so smooth on his board, like he’s meant to skate.

What’s Loopin’ 7/1 🌀

Will Kromer was name that I had heard of, but I had never seen footage of him, until a couple weeks ago. Transworld released a part titled “Will Kromer’s Brooklyn Projects x Transworld Video Part“, so I gave it a watch. From the amazing skateboarding, to the filming and editing (shout out Kyle Steneide), it was great all around. After watching the part, I read Will’s interview, and was more amazed that he was able to film this part while juggling the crazy busy schedule of being a full time teacher.

Last week I rewatched Will’s part, and decided to make some loops from it. In general, I think loops look the best without slomo, and thankfully Kyle Steneide was cool enough to send over some raw footage from the part. With all that being said, go watch the part if you haven’t, and here’s a couple of my favorite loops from it.
