What’s Loopin’ 6/19πŸŒ€

Being a long time fan of Brad Cromer, and considering how incredible his skateboarding is, I decided to dedicate a week of loops to him.

In doing so, I rewatched a handful of his parts, and edits he’s featured in, including; HUF Footwear “Cromer 2 Part”, Brad Cromer in Outliers, Brad Cromer: Let’s Skate Dude, “The Mermaid Video”, and HUF Welcomes Mason Silva To The Team.

Whether or not you’ve seen those videos before, I recommend you go watch them before you go skate this week. As I have mentioned before, I love when the flat ground trick in a line really stands out, and there’s plenty of that with Brad’s pop and floaty style. It also stands out to me how it seems like he can do almost any trick, yet he chooses to do such great looking tricks, whether it’s a properly done fakie flip, or he’s getting tech on a ledge, it always looks clean.

Speaking of great flat ground, this is the first trick in “The Mermaid Video” by Krooked, what a start. The sound of the scoop, and the violent stomp are beautiful. Big shout out to Anthony Lopez for having the song start right when he lands the impossible, that really adds to the clip.

Although I mentioned the different parts and videos I watched this week in order to make some loops of Cromer, I also spent time digging through his Instagram, and that’s where this clip comes from. Brad’s Instagram is definitely one of my favorites, the footage of him skating around NY is very pleasing to the eye, and his “Storytime” edits on his IGTV are a good watch. The sound of the brick wall, and how evenly he lands into the lipslide make this clip one that I can sit back and keep watching.

With “Brad Cromer Week” being wrapped up, hit us up on Instagram with some ideas of loops if you have any, I want to loop what y’all want to see.
