What’s Loopin’ 4/25 πŸŒ€

This was another week full of loops, as plenty of great skateboarding has been releasing.

A San Diego homie video titled “look at it closely” by Nolan Lively dropped on YouTube, and it’s a good one. There’s a cool mix of SD skaters in this, it was fun to watch all their different approaches to spots. There was a few times during my watch of this video I had to pause, and make sure I was going to go back later to make loops of certain clips.

This nollie flip by Jake Martin was one of those clips I knew needed to be looped. It’s crazy the way his front foot just waits for the board to come around after he pops and flicks it, something about that front foot really stood out. Nolan edited this one sick too, the music starting right when he landed was perfect.

Manuals are frustrating enough on their own, doing one across water just seems impossible, but Billy did it, and flipped in. The pop out to get over the gap, and the way the water hits the ground at the same time as his wheels do is my favorite thing about it. This is a crazy one, and it was done so proper.

If you have ever watched Jake Scarpuzzi skate, you know that he has crazy pop and can nose bonk just about anything. With that being said, nose bonking a bump over bar is so gnarly. The bump at this spot is also super mellow, you have to really have pop to get over that bar. Hearing that bonk and watching how easy Jake made this one look was really sick.

These are just a few standouts, but the video is full of good skating, it’s worth

I also posted some loops from “Limbo“, a new video by Slappy’s Garage, I still have some more to post, so I’ll get into those next week.
