To wrap up the year, I figured it would only make sense to take some of my favorite clips from the “Out To Get A Loop” series, as well as some others that went straight to the gram, and make an edit of them. Revisiting some of these clips reminded me how incredible they are. That side blunt front big on the QP from Billy Jackson, JP Souza making tech ledge tricks look effortless, and the ender of the edit, Tanner Lawler’s properly executed parking block wizardry, there’s great skateboarding all around.

Out To Get A Loop – Ep. 14 – JP Souza

Another JKWON Sunday, but this time, with JP Souza. JP’s tech ledge ability makes him a perfect match for a tile plaza full of ledges, which he has been skating and killing for years now. Although I’ve looped JP before, this was our first session together, and watching him skate in person was amazing. Out To Get A Loop – Ep.13 – Jkwon

Up to this point, each “Out To Get A Loop” episode has been focused on one skateboarder. This time I decided to switch it up and focus on one spot, Jkwon, and feature multiple skateboarders.

Out To Get A Loop – Ep. 12 – Monica Torres

From her properly pinched front krooks, to the flick on her flip tricks, Monica has it. I have always been impressed by her ability to turn switch backside, which you’ll see below in her switch bs bigspin.

As we spent an afternoon together, Monica cruised around Chevy Chase Park, knocking out her go-to’s on the hip and ledge, showing her board control and consistency.

Out To Get A Loop – Ep.11 – Will Gomez

A little over a year ago I ended up on a session with Will, and instantly became a fan, as well as a friend. As we skated that day I kept watching him, his style and trick selection stood out and caught my attention, not to mention he was very welcoming and nice to everyone around. As time went on I skated with Will some more, and as I was thinking of who I’d like to film a loop with, he came to mind as a perfect fit.

With that being said, we decided to meet up at Mayberry Park, and get a loop going.
