Out To Get A Loop – Ep.10 – John Dilo

Whether he’s doing a crazy manual, popping over a table, or sailing down a set, John Dilo is a breath of fresh air in skateboarding. His ability to land into nose manny after ollieing just about anything, and his incredible flick made John stand out to me when I first saw footage of him.

Although he’s dealing with a reoccurring heal bruise, John was down to keep it mellow at Cherry Park and stack some clips, and of course, a loop.

One of his go-to tricks, switch flip over the hydrant chillin.

Out To Get A Loop – Ep.9 – Dominick Walker

With his recent Kickflip Back Overkrook down Bricktown, and new “Clarity” part, Domo has been on a tear.

I was able to meet up with him at his local Costa Mesa park to film some tricks and a loop, as well as an evening sesh at the new Tustin park for some more clips & photos.

Domo staying safe & fired up.

Out To Get A Loop – Ep.8 – Daniel Scales

Through Instagram, I have known and watched Daniel skate for years. As he made his way out to Los Angeles from Miami, I’ve had the pleasure of skating with him a handful of times. We met up at The Berrics for a session, and it turned out to be a successful one. If you aren’t yet, get familiar with Daniel here.

Due to park rules, I was not able to bring in my camera, so unlike the past episodes, there are no photos, but the footage will make up for it.

Below are some warm ups, and attempts of the trick we looped. That dusty and slick ground didn’t make it easy, but Daniel handled it properly.

Out To Get A Loop – Ep.7 – Will Kromer

At this point, you’ve probably heard of Will Kromer, through either his amazing part from earlier this year, or maybe from the loops I posted of him from that part.

Will’s TWS Part made me a fan of his skating, and after hanging out with him and watching him skate in person, I’m even a bigger fan now. We decided to meet up at the infamous West LA Courthouse and see if we could get a loop.

Lots of history here, you’ve seen this loop that was filmed here, right?!

Out To Get A Loop – Ep. 6 – Trevor Colden

From “Stone Colden“, to “PUSH“, and his part in “Chronicles 3“, I’ve enjoyed watching Trevor Colden skate for years now.

I hit him up on Thursday night, and Friday afternoon we linked up to hang out and film some clips. Here’s what we got on a hot day in South Pasadena –

Locked into a proper Back Noseblunt, look at those arms!

What’s Loopin’ 8/16 🌀 – “Looks OK to Me”

The past 6 days have been dedicated to loops from “Looks OK to Me“, an amazing video by Ben Chadourne featuring Bobby Worrest and Hjalte Halberg.

There’s a lot of reasons as to why I love this video. Bobby and Hjalte just look great on a skateboard, Ben’s filming/editing give it a special feeling and just add to the amazing skateboarding, the songs throughout the edit, specifically “Once In A Lifetime” during the Pulaski section, it’s all so enjoyable.

I remember watching this video when it released back in 2016, and a few times since then, but Bobby’s “Out There” piece that was released recently reminded me to go back and watch it again. I then remembered how much I enjoy this video, and decided I needed to make some loops from it. With all of that being said, here’s a few stand outs from the 6 loops I posted this week, from this masterpiece.
